THESIS PRODUCT

This simulation training prototype was integrated into a larger training course (RBT Online Training Course) as a supplement to a behavior reduction section. Its purpose is to give additional experience to pre- and in-service educators of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in order to allow them to practice Differential Reinforcement Procedures (DRPs), a behavior reduction technique commonly used in classroom and clinic environments. Data from testing sessions of this training indicated that users increased in their mastery of DRPs and general confidence when using this training in addition to standard course material on the subject.
